One of our Specialized Services is our Storage and Warehousing Facilities, which are jointly located at our Corporate Headquarters. We have over 20,000 SF of secure, climate-controlled and air-conditioned Storage and Warehousing available to safely store your valuable possessions until you are ready to relocate into your new home.

| During the storm of Hurricane Charlie, having this facility for our Customers was a “Godsend” since many of our community members lost entire dwellings and had to start from scratch. By having their personal possessions stored with Modern Movers, they were guaranteed to have a fresh start after the storm. |

| Modern Movers has all the necessary equipment and services to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. Our skilled, uniformed and friendly Moving Teams load the truck at the warehouse with the appropriate number of Storage Containers just before arriving at your home. The truck is weighed to obtain the total truck weight (with empty Storage Containers). This is considered the “light” weight of the truck. Upon arrival at your home, our Moving Teams will pad-wrap, secure and load your possessions into the Storage Containers already on the Truck. Once our Truck returns to the Warehouse, the truck (with all of your contents secured in the Storage Containers) will be weighed again (the “heavy” weight). This weight tells us the total weight of your items to be stored in our climate-controlled, air-conditioned warehouse and that is how we price these Services. Finally, the Storage Containers are tagged, inventoried and carefully stored by our skilled Warehousemen into our secure, climate-controlled, air-conditioned Storage and Warehousing Facilities, which will not be touched again until you are ready to move into your new location. |
